Terms of Service & Liability Waiver
Please read carefully before participating in any expedition
By accessing and using Hiking TTMENSAH's services, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2.1 Acknowledgment of Risks
I acknowledge that outdoor activities including hiking, trekking, and expeditions involve inherent risks including but not limited to:
- Physical injury, illness, or death
- Extreme weather conditions
- Difficult terrain and altitude sickness
- Wildlife encounters
- Equipment failure
- Acts of nature beyond our control
2.2 Release of Liability
I hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue Hiking TTMENSAH, 8 Fold Cr8ation, their officers, employees, guides, and agents from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, and causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury that may be sustained by me while participating in any expedition or activity.
2.3 Medical Fitness
I certify that I am physically fit and have no medical conditions that would prevent safe participation in the chosen expedition. I agree to immediately inform the guide of any health concerns that arise before or during the expedition.
Participants must be at least 18 years old to book expeditions independently. Minors (under 18) must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who accepts full responsibility and signs this waiver on their behalf.
4.1 Payment Terms
- Full payment is required to confirm booking
- All prices are in Ghana Cedis (GHS)
- Proof of payment must be submitted within 24 hours
4.2 Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations 7+ days before: 80% refund
- Cancellations 3-6 days before: 50% refund
- Cancellations less than 3 days: No refund
- No-shows are not eligible for refunds
Participants must:
- Follow all instructions from guides and staff
- Respect other participants and the environment
- Not participate under the influence of drugs or alcohol
- Carry required gear and emergency contacts
- Report any safety concerns immediately
Violation of these rules may result in immediate removal from the expedition without refund.
Participants are strongly encouraged to obtain personal travel and medical insurance. An emergency contact must be provided at the time of booking. In case of emergency, we will contact this person and coordinate necessary medical assistance.
We collect and process personal information in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Your data is used solely for expedition management, safety, and communication purposes. We will never sell your information to third parties.
All content on this platform, including photos, videos, and text, is protected by copyright. Participants grant permission for photos/videos taken during expeditions to be used for promotional purposes unless expressly opted out.
We are not liable for failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond our control, including natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, or other force majeure events. In such cases, we will offer rescheduling or credit for future expeditions.
Any disputes arising from these terms shall be governed by the laws of Ghana. Parties agree to first attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation before pursuing legal action.
